Welcome to the Devolab!

Lab Infrastructure Checklist

Here’s a list of the things that need to be done for a new member to be able to make use of the full lab infrastructure. Brian Baer will be able to help you with most of these:

adduser -c "full user name" -s /bin/tcsh user_name
passwd user_name
su "user_name"
ssh-keygen -t dsa
cp ~/.ssh/id_dsa.pub ~/.ssh/authorized_keys2
chmod 600 ~/.ssh/authorized_keys2
Add /usr/local/dist_run/bin to $PATH for user
exit
/usr/local/dist_run/sbin/dist_update_node_configs
